Social entrepreneurship is the work of a social entrepreneur. A social entrepreneur is someone who recognizes a social problem and uses entrepreneurial principles to organize, create, and manage a venture to make social change.
Whereas business entrepreneurs typically measure performance in profit and return, social entrepreneurs assess their success in terms of the impact they have on society.
While social entrepreneurs often work through nonprofits and citizen groups, many work in the private and governmental sectors. Most of the social enterpreneurs are using agency management software for business.

Hi there - what a fantastic idea for a blog. I look forward to reading more.
It is true that multi national organisations hold the most power in terms of helping to derive a more peaceful global community. If they were held more accountable for social change, or measured their success more on social improvement than simply profits - the world could certainly become a much better place...
Being involved with a venture at the moment I hope to see more of this blog.
